Chaim Preparing For Purim

The other day, a friend asked if I knew of a local wine expert who would be able to do a tasting on a new wine soon to be released on the market. I said, of course I know of someone! My baby Chaim would be more than happy to!

One of Chaim's Favorite Holidays

First he chose his favorite new fruit. (Strawberries-Duh ! )

Mommy helped him eat it cuz Chaim just wanted to put the whole thing in his mouth!

These were also fantastic- we all made a שהחיינו together. Well, really Chaim made a שהחיינו on all the fruits because this was his first time tasting any of them.

Milestones...

We were thinking about writing a description but we felt that the pictures and Vid (yay, we havent posted a vid in some time.) speak for themselves.

Midnight activities

At times Chaim has his days and nights mixed up. For some reason, tonight, he thought 1 am was really 1 pm.

Zos Chanukah

As some of you may have seen earlier in the week, Chaim wanted to make whole wheat doughnuts. We pleaded with him and tried to convince him that whole wheat caramel- filled doughnuts don't really sound that appetizing. 

Well, he disagreed and insisted we try and make them anyway !!

Here was the start of the process.

We worked hard and after a few tries we were finally able to come up with a great recipe that came out DELICIOUS. Chaim couldn't get enough of  'em.

A Freilichen Chanukah!

Chanukah is here- Chaim had a wonderful first experience. We lit outside of the building and everyone who passed by was inspired and only wanted to participate in the Mitzvah. They contributed 1/2 shekel each. We're RICH!!

Afterwards, Chaim enjoyed dinner with us, consisting of hot, delicious latkas and home-made applesauce!

Missing you....

After dinner, we took a nice stroll to get some dessert (for Chaim, of course!).  On our way, we passed by a life-size Menorah! Chaim was mesmerized...

 

When we got to the ice cream store, we gave Chaim the opportunity to choose the flavor.  Chaim was so excited with all the options!

New Tricks !! Sooooo Thirsty!!

We know we know… It’s been a while since the last update. (a significant while.) Boruch Hashem Chaim’l has kept us really occupied and we didn’t get around to sharing updates and videos and pics. Well here we are again, and hopefully we’ll be able to be more attentive to the blog.

Chaim has grown by leaps and bounds. He doesn’t cease to surprise us with his new tricks all the time! Check out his latest in the video below.
