Krias Shem

This morning we had a chance to name our new little gift Hashem gave us.

It was a beautiful ceremony with thousands in attendance. All were delighted to hear the name and were excited to bentch her and her parents with an abundance of brochos

We also had a lechaim for all that attended - in line with the traditional Yerushalmi breakfast.…rugelach, cold pepsi, and some delicious Yerushalmi whiskey. (aged for a full six weeks in Israeli plastic barrels. )

May G-d give us the strength to live, fulfill, and see to fruition all the brochos given to us by our friends and family.

We should all share in simchas with each other b’korov mamash.!

All in a day with Chaim...

As you know, we haven't posted in a while... it's because we have been super busy with "fun"tastic activities!  As the weather gets warmer, we're working very hard on cooling ourselves off and enjoying some fun in the sun!

Ready or not, here I come!!

Drinking fruit smoothies on the mirpeset! YUM!!

Splishing and splashing in my very own pool!

Giddyup, Giddyup, Giddyup!! I'm riding with no help!

Sliding down a big, twirly slide! Watch out everyone!

Aaah... This is the life!! Just chillin' in the sun!

ל"ג בעומר in Maalot Dafna

As you can imagine our ל"ג בעומר was very enjoyable.
We went to a bunch of different fires at night and spent the afternoon at the holy Shimon Hatzadiks kever.
For those of us that didn't make it to Meron, the kever is the next best thing, there were tons of people, lots of upsherins, and dancing and singing with  loud lively music from morning till evening. Chaim enjoyed every minute of it! and told us hes looking forward to the big party in Meron next year :)
Hope yours was enjoyable as well

Yahrtzeit

On the Yahrtzeit of  ר' שמחה משה בן ר' שלמה ז"ל  (Simmy’s namesake) Chaim and his father had an opportunity to do something they have really come to enjoy together. They learned Mishnayos  and had some freshly baked chocolate cake with dinner for the yahrtzeit seudah. (and of course they had a L’chaim together too. :-) )

Midnight seesaw rides, 3am melave malka , Mishnayos together… Father and son are really enjoying the activities leading towards a great bonding relationship.

Enjoy the pics.

Happy Belated Purim!

Hope everyone had an enjoyable Purim!  We, here in Eretz Yisroel, had a fantastic time celebrating the Holiday, despite the fact that it was such a short day. Baby Chaim was a huge attraction as he went around 'barking' at everybody!  He was the cutest puppy around bla"h!  Check out his puppy dog eyes!

Chaim Preparing For Purim

The other day, a friend asked if I knew of a local wine expert who would be able to do a tasting on a new wine soon to be released on the market. I said, of course I know of someone! My baby Chaim would be more than happy to!

Enjoy the video.

TU B"SHVAT

One of Chaim's Favorite Holidays

First he chose his favorite new fruit. (Strawberries-Duh ! )

Mommy helped him eat it cuz Chaim just wanted to put the whole thing in his mouth!

DELICIOUS !!!!

We let Chaim choose some more- can you guess what he chose next ?

These were also fantastic- we all made a שהחיינו together. Well, really Chaim made a שהחיינו on all the fruits because this was his first time tasting any of them.

Hope you enjoyed. We sure did!
