Budding Relationships...

Boruch Hashem the children are growing day by day. With a little effort we’re trying to have their affection for each other grow ‘day by day’ as well. Sometimes it works, and of course sometimes we revert to the old adage ‘if you don’t succeed at first…try and try again’.

During this great bonding opportunity we happened to have the camera at arms length and managed to capture some love to share with y’all.
We bless ourselves that these moments should only continue with more and more deep affection for each other.

Hope you had a wonderful Shabbos, ours in Yerushalayin was fantastic as usual.

Love always,
Simmy Sari, and the K clan. :)

Smiles worth a million....

Snow in Yerushalayim!

Snow in Yerushalayim!

As you can see from the pictures below, there was a real blizzard on this side of the world!  You can also infer from these pics that Chaim was the only brave soul in the Krieser family that headed out in this weather to play!  He had a blast!!

Chanukah 5773

A Freilichen Chanukah to all!  Hope everyone enjoyed the family get-together… Although we weren’t able to join you in person, we’ve been celebrating overseas and wanted to share some clips with you.  Hopefully, there’ll be more to come!

As you'll see below, Chaim is really learning a lot at his mensa Gan for two year olds.
May he continue with H's help.

Freilichen Chanuka!

One of the advantages of Mommy having experience in a pre-school environment is the creative ways she can come up with projects to keep the children busy and entertained.
One of the advantages of having a little sister is that you get to use her as part of your own entertainment!!
Enjoy the video.

What kind of exciting activities can YOU recommend in the comment section ?

Yesh Batorah

Recently, Chaim and Chaya Tehila have become fascinated with a beautiful song that was composed by Shlomie Daskal for the previous Siyum Hashas. It’s been playing on auto loop for almost two weeks now …morning till evening. Although at times it can get kind of monotonous, seeing the expressions on the childrens faces when they sing and dance makes it all worth it.
Hope you enjoy the vid as much as they love dancing :)

NY bagels in the Holy Land!

Having a good bagel for ‘break’fast may not be quite that exciting for most of you. However, here in the Holy Land, the Israelis haven't yet figured out how to master the great New York bagel. The truth is that anyone outside NY really hasn't figured it out either. But that's because they don't know it’s all in the NY water. The Israelis on the other hand think that making a challah in the shape of an 'O' suffices as a reason to call it a bagel. ....I don’t think so!.

So this afternoon while the Mommy was out, Simmy and son decided to surprise Mommy with some hot fresh NY bagels to come home to. (Well really Simmy was in the mood for a good bagel to break his fast on and knew that finding one here wasn't that likely. So like a lot of other things.....he just did it himself! )

Needless to say they turned out quite good....Just look at the smile on Chaya Tehila's face!

What kind of Bagel do you prefer?

Tell us in the comment section and you’ll automatically be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of Simmy's homemade Israeli-NY bagels. :)

The secret to good bagels: Boiling in NY water

All different flavors

Chaim carefully inspecting that Daddy do's it right!

One word: YUM !!!

Chaim got to try it out first with some tuna. It was 'alicious' Mommy !

Chaya Tehila obviously felt the same as her brother and devoured it with Mommy's homemade cream cheese

Chaim could never hold himself back from sharing a good thing with others (well not quite with his sister, but we're working on it)

Hope your fast was meaningful and easy.
